Our client was undergoing a website modernization of their legacy external facing website. The solution involved centralized all the content, but the issue surrounding this solution was governance in terms of how content would be published by various departments and people around the world in a timely manner.
HOW WE SOLVED THIS PROBLEM
We leveraged industry best practices and socialized a “strategic” governance board along with “tactical” governance processes with the content management solution. The strategic governance board was setup to look at federal mandates, policies and laws for compliance purposes and to also set strategic goals for the website, while the tactical governance processes were used to create simple workflows within the content management solution to help manage and centralize content.
